Fire Extinguisher Course
This course is designed for all members of staff to gain a greater understanding of the methods of use and limitations of portable fire extinguishers. This course also includes practical training on the use of extinguishers, to provide delegates an opportunity to gain confidence with fire safety equipment.
Course Aim
A practical training session (utilising a clean burn environmentally friendly system) is also included in this course which gives delegates an opportunity to use a range of fire extinguishers and fire blankets on live fire scenario’s.

- Action on discovery of fire
- Classifications of fire
- Types of fire extinguishers and methods of operation
- Practical use on live (controlled) fire scenarios to boost confidence in the use of fire extinguishers / fire blankets
On successful completion of the course, all delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
